RANDOMS
I think these are all the other people that appear in the comic. From left to right they are two girls from my nursery, Yvonne who used to teach with J, a Random lady at the Tesco cafe, and Cookie, J's friend.
-C
-C
UNCLE RICHARD
He only appears once in the comic, but is worth a mention. He was J's younger brother, and looked almost identical to him (and me). He was a big fan of practical jokes. He is now sadly deceased. RIP Uncle Richard.
-C
-C
MUM (SARAH)
J's wife. Samantha, Hannah, Charlotte and Matthew's mum, and Isaac's grandma. She likes to look nice, and she likes other people (especially her family) to look nice too. She's not big on soppy affection within the family, and can't abide short hair. However, in the comic she is portrayed as much less caring than she actually is, and would probably want me to tell you that she does lots of work for Compassion in World Farming.
-C
-C
ISAAC
Samantha and Nick's son. J and Sarah's grandson. Charlotte, Hannah and Matthew's nephew. Everyone's favourite person. He loves castles, superheroes and chocolate.
-C
-C
NICK
Nick (N Dog), is Samantha's fiancée. He only appears once in the comic, as a minor character. He is the creator of Culture Vulture Zine. He is Isaac's dad.
-C
-C
SAMANTHA
The oldest child. Samantha doesn't appear as much as the other 3 children, because she is much older, so being a teenager when we were all little, had her own life. In our family she is considered to be the one who does everything right. We would probably all be really jealous of her if we didn't like her so much. When she still lived at home, she used to invent games for the 4 of us to play. She is quite bossy. She is Isaac's mum.
-C
-C
MATTHEW
Matthew is the youngest child of J, and the only boy. He was a chubby child, although became tall and lanky as a teenager. He was prescribed glasses at the age of 6 or 7 but at the age of 14 decided he didn't need them any more, even though he did (and still does). If Hannah could be slow on the uptake, it was nothing compared to Matthew. And he's not just slow thinking, but slow acting. It takes him about 100 times longer to complete a task that it would take the average person to. He used to laugh with delight whenever he was taught how to do something. He also loves video games, and hates swearing. He is Isaac's uncle.
-C
-C
HANNAH
Hannah is my older sister, the second oldest child of J. She is the older of the two girls with blond plaits. She is the one with a slightly rounder face, a wider nose and full lips. She was a lovely child, although quite clumsy and messy, and could sometimes be a bit slow on the uptake. She is Isaac's aunty.
-C
-C
CHARLOTTE (ME)
I appear second most often in the comic. This is not because I am full of myself (I am the picture of modesty), but because being me, most of my memories of J are ones where I was there. Some of the incidents are ones that J has told me at some point, or that I witnessed.
I am the 3rd child of J - youngest girl, second youngest overall.
As a little girl I was girly, and the 'cute' one. As a teenager I am not girly at all, and have picked up J's sense of humour. In the comic there are times when you will see two little girls with blonde plaits. I am the smaller, neater one with a more delicate face. I am Isaac's aunty. My name is Charlotte. I drew the comic.
-C
-C
J (DADDY)
The man himself. J is a tea drinker (that's where I got it from), a 'banjo player', a cartoonist, a joker, a former taxi driver and a primary school teacher, among other things. He is the main character in the comic. Without him, the comic can't exist. Finally an explanation of his name(s): His name is William, but everyone calls him by his middle name, John. His children (myself included) call him Daddy. This is because when my oldest sister was a toddler, she heard my mum calling her dad 'dad', and copied her. That means that we call our grandad dad, and will call J daddy for eternity. I've called him J for the purpose of this comic, because I am C, and he's my dad. Isaac calls him grandad.

INTRODUCING...
Before I go any further, I am going to introduce the characters in the comic so you can get a better idea of what we're all like, in order to understand the jokes and what's going on better.
